Jack R. Bick was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Jack held a number of jobs including teaching school and working for the Social Security Administration.

In 1967, Jack started Bick's Driving School with one car and one classroom location.

Over the years Bick's Driving School grew to over 12 different locations all throughout the Cincinnati area.

Jack retired in 1985 and became a Methodist pastor. Jack went to be with the Lord in April 1992. But his heart for making safer drivers of all ages lives on.
